For Glowing Skin – 4 Vegetable Masks

Do you know that vegetables can also be used for preparing beauty masks? If your skin needs extra care try some of these natural and effective masks:

Face Mask of Tomatoes

After you make tomato puree add a few drops of lemon juice, half a teaspoon of claypowder. Mix well until you get a homogenous mixture. Then apply the mask on your neck and face and wait until it dries. Wash it off with cold water. The results are amazing.

Face Mask of Carrot

Carrots are especially good for sensitive skin as they are rich in vitamin A. They are used against blackheads, acnes and they can even change the skin pigmentation.

After you make a carrot juice just add a few drops of honey, milk and lemon juice. Then apply the mask and massage you face for about 2 minutes. Keep the mask for another 15 minutes and then remove it with cold water. This mask is also great for treating dark spots around elbows and knees.

Face Mask of Potato

People with dry skin will find this mask quite helpful. Just smash the potato and massage your face with it. You can also grate a potato and mix it with some milk for better results. Apply the mask and wait for 10 minutes. Then wash your face with cold water.

Face Mask of Garlic

Garlic is rich in vitamins E, A and C that are proven to protect the skin from harmful free radicals and ultraviolet radiation.  In a bowel add sandalwood powder, lemon juice, 1/2 tablespoon corn flour and garlic paste.

After you mix well, add a few drops of milk to make dough. Then apply the mask and wait for 10 minutes. After that, wash your face with cold water.
