This mouth infection is quite common among people and although it’s not dangerous it can be extremely unpleasant and painful. But though it is a common disease doctors cannot say for sure why the sprues appear. Sometimes they appear due to some vitamin deficiency, weak immune system or even because of stress.

The dentists and doctors claim that this infection can cause you problems for a whole week, but there are some natural ingredients which can alleviate your pain.

Cranberry juice is one of the options. Rinse your mouth with cranberry juice evry day to alleviate pain. Cranberries are proven to have calming effect and they also renew the oral mucosa.

You can also prepare a mixture of 3 tablespoons of dried sage and 1dl (3.4 oz) of water. Sage tea is known by its healing properties especially if it is mixed with a teaspoon of calendula.

Another effective remedy is prepared with lemon juice, propolis and baking soda although the first two may seem painful. You just need to mix a tablespoon of baking soda and 1.5 dl (5 oz) water. Then rinse your mouth a few times every day.
